Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga (Near Pune)

Located in the Sahyadri ranges, Bhimashankar is surrounded by dense forest and natural beauty. It is believed that Lord Shiva appeared here to destroy the demon Tripurasura, hence the temple’s spiritual importance.

Architecture: Built in the Nagara style and later renovated by the Peshwas. The temple’s bell was donated by Chimaji Appa, brother of Peshwa Baji Rao I.

Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga (Nashik)
