Key Travel Notes
- Samruddhi Mahamarg: This is your best option for reaching Grishneshwar from Mumbai or Nashik, providing a significantly faster and smoother experience than older state highways.
- Bhimashankar Traffic: The route to Bhimashankar is prone to heavy traffic during weekends and peak pilgrimage seasons. Starting by 4:30 AM is highly recommended to ensure you can reach the temple before the rush and secure parking near the entrance.
- Trimbakeshwar Widening: Please be aware that road widening work is ongoing on the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar stretch in preparation for future events; expect some congestion and construction dust.
- Early Starts: For any long-distance travel, an early morning start (before 6:00 AM) is consistently the best way to bypass city exit traffic and complete the journey before the heat of the day.
